Police Report

Malicious mischief--Aug. 22, 8:46 a.m. on Montclair Road. Someone smashed the caller's mailbox overnight, using a large rock. Police took a report.

Theft--Aug. 23, 8:58 p.m. on N. Santa Cruz Avenue. Someone stole a purple men's mountain bike. Police took a report.

Neighborhood disturbance--Aug. 26, 10:07 p.m. on E. Main Street. Two callers complained of yelling and hooting sounds coming from an apartment. Police contacted the individuals responsible and discovered a bachelor party that was just shutting down.

Theft--Aug. 28, 10:19 a.m. on Camino Del Cerro. Several large plants were stolen from over a fence. Police took a report.

Patrol checks--Aug. 28, 9:53 p.m. at Roxbury Lane and More Avenue. The caller was concerned about juveniles who sometimes roll bowling balls down the hill from near the Rinconada Water Treatment Plant, usually between midnight and 1 a.m. Police will be on the lookout.
