School is in, and so are local youth programs

School began again this week, and all of the students are back from vacations and camp--and the many community programs in Los Gatos are ready to serve them.

Club Live, a Community Against Substance Abuse (CASA) sponsored youth club provides interested Fisher Middle School students with social activities, service opportunities and leadership experience. Club Edge is an after-school program for middle school students that provides a computer lab, a place to study, a skate park and other recreation activities. For information, call 408.356.0756.

Friday Night Live is a similar social club for Los Gatos High School Students. Friday Night Live members participate in bowling, games, comedy, sports, dances ski trips and other activities.

The 5th Quarter Program provides dances, pizza and prizes in the LGHS gym after most home football games.

A Place for Teens, located in the Outhouse on the LGHS campus is open to all area youth.
