Los Gatan receives Eagle Scout Award

Jonathan Clark, a recent Los Gatos High School graduate, received the Boy Scout's highest honor, the Eagle Scout Award, on May 22 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Los Gatos.

Clark, son of Alden and Judy Clark and a member of Boy Scout Troop 603, worked at the Mountain Bible Church in Los Gatos for his Eagle project. He led a group of Boy Scouts and other local volunteers to refurbish the decking of the church and the gates of the church's school. The project took about four weeks to complete.

A member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Clark will leave next year for a two-year mission. He is building computer parts and working other part-time jobs to save money for the mission.
