PenWest donates dollars

The Realtors Charitable Foundation of the Peninsula West Valley--a charitable foundation sponsored by The Peninsula West Valley Association of Realtors--has announced its grant recipients for the spring 1996 quarter.

The YMCA of the Mid-Peninsula received $300 toward its summer youth programs; the Community Association of Rehabilitation received $500 toward a camcorder for clients to film and view appropriate social behavior; the Palo Alto PTA Wardrobe, which provides clothing to disadvantaged children, received $300 to purchase a new telephone system; the Adult and Child Guidance Center will purchase a TV, VCR, videotapes and other therapeutic materials related to mental health issues with its $500 grant; and the San Jose State University Spartan Foundation received $200 for sports scholarships.

The Realtors Charitable Foundation makes grants to nonprofit organizations focusing on the areas of housing, youth and education, with proceeds generated from its Realtors and affiliate members.

Nonprofit organizations throughout the West Valley and Peninsula regions are encouraged to apply for grant funding. For more information, call Julie Chancerelle at (415) 949-9115.
