    Sports Briefs

    Pony-Colt

    Los Gatos Boys Baseball will hold signups for its Pony (ages 13-14) and Colt (ages 15-16) divisions on Nov. 8 and 15, 7-9 p.m., in the cafeteria at Fisher Middle School.

    Players must provide a birth certificate and provide proof of residency at the registration. The fee is $200 per player.

    The league is also looking for volunteer coaches for the Pony divisions. Previous coaching experience at this level or experience as a college baseball player is preferred.

    Little League

    The Los Gatos Little League will hold signups for the 2001 season on Nov. 8 and 15, 7-9 p.m., in the cafeteria at Fisher Middle School.

    Players must provide a birth certificate and proof of residency. The fee is $175 per player for $300 per family.

    Players needed

    Two Los Gatos Metro boys soccer teams are looking for players for the upcoming select season.

    The Metro boys under-13 Class 1 team is looking for a field player and a goalkeeper, and the boys under-14 Class 1 team is looking for two field players. Call coach Dave Gold at 408.997.7775.

    Masters swimming

    The West Valley Swim Club hosts its master program and lap swimming at the Saratoga High School pool, Monday through Friday, 6-7:30 a.m. and 6-7:30 p.m., and Saturdays, 7-8:30 a.m.

    Swimmers must register with Pacific Masters Swimming. The fee is $5 per swim, $50 for a 20-swim card or $40 per month.
