Los Gatos community members are invited to an informal discussion and informational meeting about Chevron's proposed remodel of their Massol Avenue and Los Gatos-Saratoga Road service station.

Chevron is proposing to tear down the existing service bay and replace it with a convenience store.

The session will be held on Oct. 19 at 6 p.m. at La Hacienda restaurant. A representative will be there to discuss traffic and other concerns with the community.

Town Council appointee Carolyn Klingler will be introduced on Oct. 20 as the newest member of Los Gatos' Historical Preservation Committee.
