Police Report
Disturbance, Fight/ Malicious Mischief--Nov. 1, 1:01 a.m. on N Santa Cruz Avenue/Grays. Four subjects were present on the site. There was a dispute over a digital cell phone, which had been accidentally damaged by being tossed.
T.P./Shaving Cream--Oct. 31, 10:59 p.m. on La Rinconada Drive. The respondent's house was toilet-papered, and shaving cream had been placed on the respondent's floor.
Dispute--Oct. 31, 10:46 p.m. on Foster Road. The respondent's husband moved a car that was blocking access to their home. The owners of the car came to the door, and one of them argued with the husband. The vehicle owners left and were possibly en route to Guadalupe College. The respondent could not provide a description nor the status of any weapons.
Disturbance/ Public Drunkenness--Oct. 31, 8:06 p.m. on N. Santa Cruz Avenue. A bartender complained of a disturbance. Officers charged the subject with being drunk in public and took the subject to jail.
Burglary--Oct. 31, 6:05 p.m. on Los Gatos Boulevard. Two men stole two digital cameras from a camera store. They did not show any weapons and fled the scene.
Neighbor Disturbance--Oct. 31, 5:07 p.m. on Anne Way. The respondent complained of loud, live drums. When the officers arrived, the subject was not playing, but said he would stop.
Reckless Driving--Oct. 31, 2:03 p.m. on Dardanelli Lane. The driver tried to run over the respondent, who had warned the driver to slow down. Both parties left the scene.
Missing Person/Outstanding Warrant--Oct. 31, 12:09 p.m. on Los Gatos Boulevard. A missing person returned to a board and care home. The subject had an outstanding warrant for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs and was taken to the county jail.
Burglary--Oct. 31, 10:08 a.m. on University Avenue. A business owner found the lock to his office door was jammed and that $209 was missing from the office. The respondent had possible suspect information.
Suspicious Person/Outstanding Warrant--Oct. 31, 8:06 a.m. on Mariposa Avenue. The respondent was concerned because a man sitting on the sidewalk with a sleeping bag had just watched the respondent leave. The subject had an outstanding warrant for violating a county ordinance and was taken to jail.
Suspicious Person/Trespassing--Oct. 3o, 6 p.m. on N. Santa Cruz Avenue. The subject was in front of a building and usually headed to the back whenever the police department arrived. Officers charged him with trespassing and took him to the county jail.
Robbery--Oct. 30, 10:53 a.m. on Blossom Hill Road. While the respondent was en route to the bank, a robber approached, said he had a knife and demanded money from the respondent. The respondent did not see a knife but told the police that something in the robber's pocket appeared sharp. The robber took a bank bag that contained video store bags, $9,000 in cash and $2,000 in checks. The respondent last saw the robber headed east on Blossom Hill Road on foot. No vehicle was seen. Officers issued a countywide warning to be on the lookout.
