Program offers tips to snow sports fanatics
Local skiers, snowboarders and other fans of fun in the snow are invited to attend a program titled Are You Ready for the Snowfall?, on Nov. 14 at 7 p.m. at the Any Mountain sporting goods store in Westgate Mall, 1600 Saratoga Ave.
Part of the evening includes displays and demos of the latest in equipment, apparel and accessories for safe enjoyment of snow sports. Additionally, Raul Guisado, a personal trainer from Axis Personal Trainers and Spa of Los Gatos and a former U.S. Olympic Ski Team coach, will discuss the topics of strength, endurance, agility, injury prevention and rehabilitation for the skier and snowboarder.
