Fall Cleanup Project
The Los Gatos High School Interact Club teamed up on Saturday with the Los Gatos Rotary Club to give the school a major fall cleanup. Members of the community also rolled up their sleeves, and local businesses donated materials. Among the projects were weeding and planting, repainting 20 worn garbage cans, cleaning inside classroom windows, steam-cleaning the building's front and side steps, and refurbishing the monument sign in front of the building. Here, sophomores Kristine Cota (left) and Noelle Smith weed the rose garden area. Following a morning of work, some 100 volunteers enjoyed a barbecue provided by school faculty.
