Holidays are a time of magic

Melissa Ozaslah, 5, is one of some 30 children who enjoyed the tricks of magician Hank Vlacek when the Los Gatos Lions Club staged its annual children's party at the Department of Community Education and Recreation on Dec. 15. Lions Jeannie Palma and Pauline Mifsud arranged the party with help from Lion Paul Grabeel. Children spent an hour on crafts projects, and each received a gift. Members of the Leo's Club, the high school group sponsored by the Lions, arranged the arts and crafts projects.
