Annual Northern California Torch Run
gives Special Olympics a special boost

Special Olympics athlete Stacey Stevenson (above) proudly carries
the torch high as she runs alongside Mario Carrizosa of the Los
Gatos-Monte Sereno Police Department in the annual Northern
California Law Enforcement Torch Run. The event provides support
for Special Olympics programs through fundraisers and public
awareness. Stevenson and Carrizosa welcome a little local support
of their own (right) as police department staff line Main Street
to provide encouragement.
