Anthony Frangadakis is a rare three-sport athlete for the Wildcats.

Frangadakis stars

There was a time when it was rather common to see high school athletes compete in three sports a year. But in these days of specialization, such an accomplishment is rather rare.

Los Gatos senior Anthony Frangadakis is one of the rare breed, though.

Frangadakis was named as the only male three-sport athlete at Los Gatos after competing in football, soccer and baseball for the Wildcats.

The senior set a school record for kicking extra points for the Central Coast Section-winning Los Gatos football team in the fall. He was the goalkeeper for the soccer team and a pitcher and outfielder on the baseball team.

Frangadakis plans to attend West Valley Community College in the fall and hopes to continue playing football and baseball.
