'Honk!' if you love music
|
|
|
The nonprofit Shoestring Theatre Company,
based out of the Presbyterian Church of Los
Gatos, is rehearsing for its fifth annual
end-of-summer production, which this year is
the award-winning musical 'Honk!' Based on
Hans Christian Andersen's 'The Ugly
Duckling,' the musical is a witty and moving
story about a mother's love and the wonder of
differences. The cast consists of 40 children
and adults, most of whom reside in Los Gatos.

Performances take place Aug. 23-25, Aug.
30-31 and Sept. 1. There is no admission
charge, but a freewill donation will be taken
