Police Report
Argument—Sept. 3, 8:44 p.m. A woman was heard screaming "Stop it!" from her Olive Street home. Police found that the woman had been drinking.

Malicious Mischief—Sept. 3, 4:34 p.m. On Brown's Lane, a 3-year-old and a 5-year-old were marking up a driveway with chalk. Part of the driveway belonged to their parents and part of it to the neighbor. The parents refused to clean up the section that belonged to the neighbor. The neighbor was concerned that the chalk would not wash off and wanted police to document the incident.

Identity Theft—Sept. 3, 3:39 p.m. An unknown person attempted to apply for a credit card with the name, Social Security number and other personal information of a Greenwood Lane resident. Police took a report.

Argument—Sept. 3, 2:17 p.m. In a Union Avenue business, an employee was arguing with a customer about payment for services. The customer, upset over the loss of 25 cents, talked to police outside the store; a person accompanying the customer said the customer had done the same thing many times. Police advised the patron not to return to the store.

Wire Down—Sept. 3, 2:02 p.m. A delivery truck in the Elks Lodge parking lot hit a pole and knocked down some live power lines. The lines damaged a few parked vehicles and the lodge itself. No report was taken.

Identity Theft—Sept. 3, 11:05 a.m. A Bond Court resident went to open a bank account for her daughter. Bank officials told the resident that someone was already using her daughter's Social Security number but did not provide any more information. Police took a report.

Theft—Sept. 2, 6:47 p.m. Mail was taken from a Kennedy Road mailbox. The Santa Clara County Sheriff's Office found some of it at a golf course in San Jose. A report was taken.

Child Abuse—Sept. 2, 5:37 p.m. A Los Gatos man beat up his 16-year-old daughter. She was taken to the emergency room at Good Samaritan for treatment. Police arrested the man.
