Alumni reunion this weekend
The Los Gatos High School New Millennium Foundation Alumni Reunion Weekend kicks off Friday, Sept. 27, and is full of events for alumni and locals alike.
Festivities begin on Friday night with a hometown football game, including a special halftime event honoring former school football players. Free campus tours led by current high school students will be offered Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Sunday at 2 p.m. is the big event: an auction and car raffle at the Opera House in downtown Los Gatos.
The foundation began last year as a way to raise funds to cover school facility improvement costs. In addition to fundraising, the weekend also provides a time for class reunions—this year, the classes of 1952 and 1972 will be meeting.
To volunteer at an event or donate to the fund, contact Diane Weisman at 408.358.3556 or call 408.354.2730, ext. 336.

The event will take place at 7 p.m. in Los Gatos High School's Prentiss Brown Auditorium. For more information, contact Jim Yinger of the Los Gatos Union School District at 408.335.2000.
