Resuscitator—Oct. 2, 10:04 p.m. A 47-year-old man collapsed in the bathroom of a University Avenue home. The man was unconscious but breathing. He had had a seizure, and an ambulance took him to Good Samaritan Hospital.
Missing Juvenile—Oct. 2, 6:40 p.m. A 13-year-old girl and her mother got into an argument in a Blossom Hill Road store. She ran from the store and wasn't seen for three hours. Police found the girl on Charter Oaks Drive, and there was a pushing match between the mother and daughter. The mother was an alcoholic and the father acted as the mediator. Police took a report.
Marijuana—Oct. 2, 3:32 p.m. On Belhaven Drive, a woman found marijuana in the garage of her mother's home, enough for four joints. She believed that the drugs belonged to her 39-year-old brother, who was in jail for domestic violence. A report was taken.
Under the Influence—Oct. 2, 12:46 p.m. An 18-year-old man was lying on a minivan in front of a school. Police arrested him for being under the influence of drugs, but found that he was too intoxicated to be taken to jail. Instead, he was taken to the emergency room at Valley Medical Center.
Elder Abuse—Oct. 1, 10:55 p.m. A drunk man shoved his mother on Belhaven Drive. Police arrested the man for elder abuse.
Vicious Animal—Sept. 29, 1:35 p.m. A dog belonging to a Cherry Blossom Lane resident went onto a neighbor's property and almost attacked the neighbor's daughter. The woman contacted the dog's owner, who was belligerent. The resident wanted advice from the police and wanted to make sure her neighbor would keep the dog inside.
