In a sample ballot sent to Los Gatos voters earlier this month, two of the Los Gatos Town Council candidates may have confused residents with their listings of occupation.  More Looking for a fright this Halloween? A haunted forest and 'a world of screams' await the adventurous. For the more tame at heart—a fall festival and a 'pumpkin walk' at local schools.  More The community will have a chance to meet all five Monte Sereno City Council candidates and ask them questions at a forum to be held on Thursday, Oct. 24.  More

Oakville Grocery Lakeside candidates Wildcats play
The current retail environment has forced yet another Los Gatos shop to go out of business—the Oakville Grocery recently announced plans to close its doors on Oct. 26.  More Lakeside's unique challenges as a one-school district are at the forefront this season as candidates compete for three four-year seats and one two-year seat in the school board race.  More The Wildcats added another victory to their 31-game winning streak when they trounced the Los Altos Eagles last Friday night 49-0.  More
