Monte Sereno candidates to take part in forum
By Gloria I. Wang
The community will have a chance to meet all five Monte Sereno City Council candidates and ask them questions at an upcoming forum.

On Thursday, Oct. 24, the League of Women Voters of Southwest Santa Clara Valley and the Los Gatos Weekly-Times will co-host a candidates' forum with the Monte Sereno council hopefuls.

The forum starts at 7:30 p.m. in the Monte Sereno City Council chambers on 18041 SaratogaLos Gatos Road, behind city hall.

The candidates—Kim Hanrahan, Deepak Chopra, Curtis Wright, Mark Brodsky and incumbent Barbara Nesbet—will each start off with a five-minute presentation. Throughout the evening, audience members will write down questions and pass them along to the moderator. League member Tat Blesch will serve as the moderator.

After the forum, the community will have the opportunity to chat with the individual candidates.
