Mike and Diane Michaelis of Los Gatos announce the engagement of their daughter, Gemma Michaelis, to Derek Krug, son of Paul and Kathleen Krug of Los Gatos.
The bride-to-be is a graduate of Los Gatos High School and the University of Oregon, Eugene. She is a business development manager with Blue Martini Software in San Mateo.
Her fiancé is a graduate of Los Gatos High School and the University of Oregon, Eugene. He is a business systems analyst with Altera Corporation in San Jose.
They plan a May 2003 wedding.
