Panthers win

Alex Estrada threw for more than 200 yards and a couple of touchdowns and he also returned a pass interception for a TD to lead the Panthers of Los GatosSaratoga Pop Warner football to a 40-7 win over San Lorenzo Valley in the first round of the league playoffs.

Estrada hit Trevor Vlay with touchdown passes for 50 and 75 yards to lead the offense. He also picked off a pass and ran it back 60 yards for a score.

Nick Miller led the ground attack in the win. Miller, Chris LaBouff and Chase Hayhurst all ran for touchdowns, and Kevin Kephart kicked a pair of 2-point conversions. Vlay, Nate Burke, Brady Cook and Nick Hirschman made fine catches of Estrada passes, and the offensive line provided the pass protection the quarterback needed.
