Wrestling night
When the Los Gatos wrestling team opens the dual match season at home against Bellarmine on Dec. 3, it will be alumni night in the Gatos gym with former wrestlers invited to catch the action.
The match will feature two teams who Los Gatos coach Scott Downs expects to finish in the top 10 in the Central Coast Section this winter.
"We will, of course, be without our football guys until the following week, but it should still be a very competitive match," said Downs. "And it will be a lot of fun to see some of the old guys return."
The junior varsity match begins at 5:30 p.m., followed by the varsity showdown at 6:30 p.m. Proceeds from the event will benefit the New Millennium Foundation.
Baseball camps
Ben Boulware, the CEO of America's Baseball Camps (ABC) in Scottsdale, Ariz., will host a baseball camp for kids on Nov. 30 and Dec. 1 at the Los Gatos High School baseball diamond.
Campers ages 69 will attend 9 a.m.12:30 p.m. on Saturday and noon3 p.m. on Sunday, and campers ages 1016 will attend sessions 14:30 p.m. on Saturday and 36 p.m. on Sunday.
The cost is $99 per player, and campers will receive 6 1/2 hours of instruction, a camp T-shirt and detailed hitting evaluations. Camps will be held rain or shine.

The Homestead Christmas Cup IX boys soccer tournament gets under way on Nov. 27 when Santa Teresa visits Mitty at
3:30 p.m.
First-round games on Nov. 30 at Homestead include: 10:15 a.m.—Homestead-Lynbrook, Los Altos-Woodside; noon—Harbor-Santa Clara, Palo Alto-Seaside; 1:45 p.m.—Pioneer-Live Oak, Watsonville-Prospect; 3:30 p.m.—St. Francis-Menlo Atherton, Los Gatos-Berkeley.
Games Nov. 30 at Valley Christian include: 9 a.m.—Gunn-Oak Grove; 11 a.m.—Valley Christian-Santa Cruz; 1 p.m.—Alisal-Leigh; 3 p.m.—Sequoia-Gilroy.
Other early games include: Dec. 2, 3:15 p.m.—Saratoga at Independence; Dec. 4, 3:15 p.m.—Watsonville at Menlo- Atherton.
