Golden Bough will perform a Christmas concert
|

Woodhaven West, the nonprofit community group sponsored by the First United Methodist Church of Los Gatos, presents A Celtic Christmas with Golden Bough on Dec. 13 at 7:30 p.m. The trio consists of (clockwise from upper left) Kathy Sierra, Paul Espinoza and Margie Butler. Like modern-day Celtic minstrels, Golden Bough play traditional music from Ireland, Scotland, Wales, Cornwall, the Isle of Man, Galicia and French Brittany. Their songs include ballads, instrumentals, singalongs and original compositions; their instruments include the Celtic harp, the Celtic drum, the pennywhistle, the guitar, the violin and the accordion. The church is at 19 High School Court. Tickets are $12 for adults, $10 for seniors and teens and $4 for children under 12. Refreshments will be served.
