Police Report
Suspended License—Dec. 18, 7:23 p.m. A Honda sedan and a pickup truck were in an accident on University Avenue. The Honda was towed and then impounded because the driver was driving with a suspended license. Police took a report.

School Burglary—Dec. 18, 5:14 p.m. Someone broke into a locker in a school locker room and took the two bags that were inside, along with some cash. The victim had been burglarized twice before. This time the suspect took a Fossil watch, a belt, a backpack, a canvas bag and $10 in cash. A report was taken.

Auto Burglary— Dec. 18, 9:18 a.m. A car that was parked on Lu Ray Drive, near Blossom Hill Road, had its window smashed at 1:30 a.m. The car alarm went off. The burglar took a CD case with 100 CDs.

Malicious Mischief—Dec. 18, 7:14 a.m. On Danville Drive, near Blossom Hill Road, someone had thrown a brick through the side window of a parked car. Nothing was taken from the vehicle.

Auto Burglary—Dec. 18, 7:03 a.m. Someone smashed the driver's side window of a pickup truck parked on Blossom Valley Drive, near Pinehurst Avenue. The person took a canvas bag that had miscellaneous hand tools inside.

Neighbor Disturbance—Dec. 16, 11:55 p.m. A Calle Marguerita resident had a party in the common courtyard area of the housing complex. A neighbor had asked the host to turn down the music an hour earlier, but they turned it up again. Police arrived as the party was breaking up and issued a warning.

Lights On—Dec. 16, 9:37 p.m. On Bancroft Avenue, neighbors were concerned about a house that was for sale. The lights were on; one in a bedroom and another in the garage. They told police the house should have been vacant. When police went inside they found that nobody was there and all the lights were off. They assumed the lights were from the Realtor turning them on.

Malicious Mischief—Dec. 16, 1:01 p.m. An employee of a N. Santa Cruz Avenue store was fired. After a disagreement with the boss, the former employee left. The boss threw his phone at the employee's vehicle and caused damage. The victim did not want to file a report, and police agreed to do follow-up.

Car Accident—Dec. 16, 12:27 p.m. On Winchester Boulevard, a car hit a telephone pole and rolled over. The driver of the car seemed to be uninjured. The pole was off the ground and hanging by its wires. Town staff and police closed off Winchester completely for two hours while PG&E worked on the pole.
