With only one day left, time is almost up for write-minded Los Gatos lovebirds that wish to enter the first-ever Los Gatos Weekly-Times Valentine's Day essay contest.
So stop yer smoochin' and get those fingers typing—we want entries and we want them now.
Just tell us in 300 words or less how you and your significant other fell in love. Don't worry—we only expect perfect prose, breathtaking analogies and dashing characters. Actually, we'd really just like to read about a little local romancing.
One lucky couple will be rewarded for their efforts with a dinner for two at the scrumptious Ristorante Valeriano in downtown Los Gatos.
