The Macabee Gopher Trap Company has been in operation in Los Gatos for more than a century. Ron Fink, general manager since 1963, and Joyce Macabee Ridgely display their traps, which have changed little since 1900.

Los Gatos-Monte Sereno Police Chief Scott Seaman recently went head to head with a superior court judge who ordered him to dismiss two parking tickets on his personal vehicle.  More Assemblywoman Rebecca Cohn has announced that in 2004 she will seek the state Senate seat representing the 15th district.  More The Canyon Oaks Apartments project is one step closer to becoming a reality after the planning commission granted architecture and site approval for the planned development.  More

LG businesses Murder mystery LGHS theater
The town means business when it says it wants to reach out to merchants in the community, town officials insist, and they're hoping to prove their sincerity through expanded efforts this year.  More A murder mystery dinner theater production at the Toll House Hotel on Feb. 22 will raise money for the next Los Gatos Shakespeare Festival.  More Los Gatos High School could have a state-of-the-art theater early next year if some local fundraising goes according to plan.  More
