Some of the nation's top fencers have trained at the California Fencing Academy, which was founded in Los Gatos. The highly trained staff members, many of whom are ex-champions themselves, are headed up by fencing master Dan Tibbetts, who says one of his foremost goals is to instill the "art, science and discipline of the sport" in his students.
