Local kids in 'Music Man'

Children's Musical Theater San Jose is bringing the upbeat American musical comedy 'The Music Man' to Silicon Valley audiences. Actors from Saratoga and Los Gatos will participate in the award-winning musical, including barbershop quartet members (from left) Shawn Platzker of Saratoga, Nick Lowrie of Los Gatos, Dana Tranchina of Saratoga and Brandon Montalvo of Saratoga, who will play Mayor Shinn. Also included in the production are Los Gatans Erin Stevenson, Catherine Stevenson, Lexie Lanoie, Madeline Lucas, Jenny Rabago, Amanda Rabago, Faryl Hoang, Hayley Steele and Katie Wilson and Saratogan Whitney Moore.
