Water district to hold meeting
Representatives from the Santa Clara Valley Water District will meet with interested members of the public March 13 to discuss a project to repair or replace the nearly 50-year-old outlet pipe for Lenihan Dam at Lexington Reservoir. The water district, busy preparing an environmental impact report, will discuss project alternatives, hear public comments and field questions.
Reports prepared by water district staff are available for review at the Los Gatos Public Library, the town's planning department and at the Santa Clara Valley Water District. Ducas speaking to Republicans
The Association of Republican Women will be hosting guest speaker and attorney Brad Ducas, president of the Pacific Justice Institute. He will speak on religion, parental rights and civil liberties at 10 a.m. on March 19. Check-in and refreshments start at 9:30 a.m. at the La Rinconada Country Club, 14595 Clearview Drive, Los Gatos. Town to review La Rinconada
The Los Gatos Planning Commission will hold a public hearing March 12 to review the La Rinconada Country Club's golf course driving range and its conditional use permit. The country club has been working with town staff to identify ways to mitigate problems. The meeting will begin at 7 p.m. at town council chambers, 110 E. Main St.
