The Los Gatos Union School District is offering several forums this week to discuss the impact of budget cuts on the district's five schools.
At each forum, Superintendent Mary Ann Park will address the current and potential state budget cuts, the impacts on each student and what the district has done and will do to balance the budget for the current and upcoming school year.
A parent will also speak on the implications of the funding loss, said Teri Kent, president of the Los Gatos Education Foundation, followed by "a call to action."
The meetings are at 8:45 a.m. and 7 p.m. on Wednesday, April 2; 7 p.m. on April 3; and 8:45 a.m. on April 4. Each session will take place at Daves Avenue School.
