Local team runs to fight cancer

Team in Training South Bay trains weekly at marathon running, obtaining pledges to help the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society fund research and support for cancer patients. Over the course of five months, participants work from running a few miles up to 21 before heading out to their first marathon, and often cancer survivors are running right alongside of them.

| If the Transportation Equity Act for the 21st Century is renewed in Congress this month in Congress, Los Gatos could have more funds to improve its bike and pedestrian paths. One local runner is rallying Los Gatans to contact their representatives.
