Bellarmine grad is honored by Nebraska school

Los Gatos resident Ryan Basham earned a spot on the Creighton University dean's honor roll for the first semester of the 2002­03 school year. Basham, a graduate of Bellarmine, is a junior majoring in biology and is a teaching assistant in animal physiology. He is the vice president of finance for the Arts and Sciences Senate. He is also a surfer, skateboarder and musician, playing for Creighton's jazz ensemble.


Scholarships for local future interior designers

The Art Institute of California—San Francisco is offering scholarships for students who are seeking a degree in interior design from the school. Students must submit application paperwork, a 250-word essay and samples of artwork; the details are on an entry form available by emailing aisfadm@aii.edu. High school seniors and international students are eligible for the full- and part-time scholarships. The entry deadline is April 30. Los Gatos woman on Providence's fall dean's list

Kathrine French, a resident of Los Gatos, was named to the fall 2002 dean's list at Providence College. The graduate of Cupertino High School is a freshman majoring in political science and philosophy. While at Cupertino, French—who goes by "Katie"—played field hockey and volleyball.
