School district visits planning to get approval for new offices
By Gloria I. Wang
The Los Gatos Union School District will go before the town and make a request to build new district offices near the campus of Fisher Middle School.

The Los Gatos Planning Commission public hearing, scheduled for April 23 at 7 p.m., is for a modification of the site's existing conditional-use permit. If granted as requested, the modification will allow the district to construct a 7,353-square-foot, two-story building on unoccupied land.

The offices are currently located inside a building on the campus of Daves Avenue School; the facility also houses the school library. According to the district, that building was intended to serve as the library and classrooms.
