Town moves
forward on
walkways
The town of Los Gatos recently received state funding of nearly $48,000 to improve two pedestrian walkways in the downtown area. The town itself is contributing $5,000 from its redevelopment fund to go toward this improvement project.
The project involves reconstructing the El Monte Hill walkway, which runs parallel to Los Gatos Boulevard between Johnson and Alpine avenues, and the Fairview Plaza walkway, between Bayview Avenue and Fairview Plaza. Work on the project will begin in the next couple months and is anticipated to take four weeks to complete. For more information, call Mary Gillespie-Greenberg at 408.399.5776.
