Alumni game

The Los Gatos baseball team and Friends of Wildcat Baseball will host a special alumni baseball game on May 3 at the newly renovated Los Gatos High School baseball diamond.

Registration begins at 10 a.m. Players in odd and even graduating years will make up the teams for the day's game. The $60 cost includes lunch, a cap and a T-shirt. Lunch for all others is $7.50 ($2 for kids under 13). All proceeds go to the Los Gatos High School baseball program. For more information contact Brian Chiala at booc4@aol.com or 408.640.4040.


Cat's Hill

The 29th annual Cat's Hill Criterium will return to Los Gatos on May 10. The event is hosted each year by the Los Gatos Bicycle Racing Club and sanctioned by the U.S. Cycling Federation.


Los Gatos soccer

Registration for the Los Gatos United Soccer League's fall season will be held on April 30, 7­8:30 p.m., at Daves Avenue School.

The cost is $105 per player, and players must provide a copy of a birth certificate or passport at the registration.

Golf for Kaitlyn

A golf tournament to benefit Kaitlyn Langstaff and her family will be held May 5 with a 1 p.m. shotgun start at the Silver Creek Country Club. The entry fee of $150 includes green fees, a golf cart and lunch.

All proceeds from the tournament go to Kaitlyn and the Langstaff family. Kaitlyn is a Saratoga
9-year-old who suffers from toxic epidermal necrolysis, a severe form of Stevens Johnson Syndrome.
