Support a community cause while gawking at fabulous homes by participating in the Homes of Vines and Roses tour on May 15 and 16 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The tour takes visitors to four homes within the Montalvo and Pierce Road areas. The houses range from a French chateau to a state-of-the-art hilltop estate. A boutique will also be set up in one of the homes, offering local art and garden supplies.
Tickets are $35 each at the Sacred Heart Church located at 13716 Saratoga Ave., where the tour begins. Proceeds benefit children and senior programs at the Addison-Penzak Jewish Community Center of Silicon Valley. For more information, call 408.358.5901 or visit www.sanjosejcc.org.
