Juvenile Disturbance—May 7, 10:31 p.m. In an Avenida del Sol housing complex, some juveniles were loitering near the clubhouse. The mother of one of the youths arrived to pick up the 17-year-olds, saying there had been a miscommunication between herself and security about who was allowed at the residence.
Disturbance—May 7, 10:08 p.m. Students at a school were running around and firing "air soft guns." Police gave the students advice but did not take a report.
Possession of Marijuana—May 7, 7:04 p.m. A man was driving recklessly, and there was a female passenger with him. Police received a call that the two had been smoking marijuana while they were sitting in a Blossom Hill Road parking lot. Police could not locate a vehicle fitting the description.
Malicious Mischief—May 7, 11 a.m. Someone caused damage to pathway lights near an Avenida del Sol house, as well as leaving behind graffiti and defecation. The reporting party did not have any suspect information for police. The crime occurred between May 2 and 7. Police took a report.
Commercial Alarm—May 6, 8:31 p.m. The alarm of a N. Santa Cruz Avenue business went off. The owner was summoned, and he reset the alarm.
Injured Person—May 6, 6:45 p.m. Two bicyclists collided with each other while on Los Gatos Creek Trail. One went back to a Roberts Road residence, where fire and ambulance personnel were called. The cyclist was conscious but had a laceration to the nose. Police took a report.
Hang-Up—May 6, 5:01 p.m. An emergency dispatcher received a hang-up. Upon callback, the number was found to be a fax line. Police went to the Golf Links Drive home but did not take further action when the resident said one of the dogs had tried to get onto the Internet.
Mail Theft—May 6, 1:45 p.m. A set of checks was stolen from a College Avenue home. There was no suspect information, but the thief had gone to a bank in Sunnyvale and attempted to cash one of the stolen checks.
Missing Juvenile—May 6, 8:11 a.m. A man was worried about his 15-year-old son, who had failed to show up at a friend's house the day before and didn't go to school the next day. Police could not find the teen, but the father did not want to file a report. At noon, the son came home.
Warrant Served—May 5, 10:20 p.m. At the police department, a 28-year-old man was arrested on a $20,000 Santa Clara County Sheriff's Office warrant charging DUI, driving with a suspended license and violating probation. He was taken to the county jail.
