Police Report
Welfare Check—May 14, 8:20 p.m. On Oak Rim Court, a woman and her ex-husband were arguing very loudly. Police investigated the situation but found that there was no physical conflict; the two were talking about their pending divorce.

Parking Violation—May 14, 6:06 p.m. A red car was parked in a red curb zone on Olive Street and N. Santa Cruz Avenue. By the time police arrived, the car was gone, but the person who reported the violation asked for patrol checks of the area between 3:30 and 6:30 p.m. during the week. The person said parents dropping children off for school were causing problems by stopping on the street.

Assault with a Deadly Weapon—May 13, 2:30 p.m. A 17-year-old driver was pulling out of a parking space in a W. Parr Avenue lot and almost hit a woman. According to the woman, he saw her and moved forward. The woman requested that police advise the teenager and his parents of correct driving techniques.

Burglary—May 13, 1:27 p.m. Two men took 10 pairs of designer sunglasses from a N. Santa Cruz Avenue store. One of them, a 40-year-old, had a $1,500 warrant out of Oakland for a DUI. The 23-year-old had a $3,000 warrant for violating probation from the Alameda County Sheriff's Office. The two men were also suspects in an earlier theft case. The men were arrested and their car towed.

Malicious Mischief—May 12, 10:26 p.m. On W. Main Street, three men were walking toward N. Santa Cruz Avenue. One of them broke a window on the building and his hand bled. He was arrested for malicious mischief and being drunk in public.

Unstable Person—May 11, 6:07 p.m. A 17-year-old was fighting with his parents on Los Gatos­Almaden Road. He was given medication and he calmed down. The parents took care of him.

Harassing Phone Calls—May 11, 11:07 a.m. A man kept calling a Los Gatos­Saratoga Road business every five minutes and threatened to kill the employees. The person who took the calls had no idea who it was but said the person was probably unstable. After several calls, the man gave the employee his home phone number. The item was an information report only.

Warrant Served—May 11, 11:06 a.m. On Thomas Drive, a blue work truck had been parked on the street overnight, with a man sleeping in the back. A resident called police. The man had a no-bail warrant from the county sheriff's office, and police charged him additionally for possessing drug paraphernalia and methamphetamine.
