Los Gatos twins
named to college
dean's list
Chrissy and Kathy Sands, 2002 graduates of Los Gatos High School, were named to the Northeastern University winter quarter dean's list. Both earned grade point averages of at least 3.25. Chrissy is a speech language pathology and audiology major, and Kathy is majoring in multimedia studies and graphic design. The twins are members of Northeastern's women hockey team.

to Gonzaga
Los Gatos resident Danielle Joesten, a high school senior, is one of 20 students to receive the Ignatian Leaders Scholarship from Gonzaga University. The scholarship is awarded to students who exhibit academic excellence, leadership skills and community service.
Shepard wins
academic honors
at prep school
Caroline Shepherd Smith, a Los Gatos resident, earned honors for her grades during the winter term at Phillips Exeter Academy. She is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Ian Smith.
Gilmore an intern
for military law
in Germany
Los Gatos High School 1996 graduate Lisa Gilmore left for Germany in late May as an intern for the Judge Advocate General Corps. Gilmore will train in Heidelberg for two months. The daughter of Karen and Michael Desmarais, she is a graduate of San Diego State University and finished her second year of law school at Santa Clara University.
