Police purchase new trailer to aid in investigations

The Los Gatos Police Foundation has donated $6,179.50 for the purchase of a cargo trailer for use as a mobile crime scene investigation unit. Presently, the Los GatosMonte Sereno Police Department houses its evidence collection tools in various locations within the department, making it more difficult to get the items to a crime scene expeditiously.

The new trailer will allow all the equipment to be housed in one location—within the trailer, which will be kept at the town's corporation yard.
