Town recognizes
contributions of
C.B. Hannegan's
John Hannegan and Chris Benson were recently recognized by the town of Los Gatos for their 23 years of operating C.B. Hannegan's in the downtown area. "As two local boys, they are completely involved in our community," Councilman Joe Pirzynski said at a special presentation ceremony.
Hannegan and Benson set up tables to prepare food for firefighters responding to an emergency situation in the Lexington and Vasona areas in the mid-1980s and again after the 1989 earthquake and the huge fire that swept through the hillside in the mid-'90s. C.B. Hannegan's has also been a sponsor of Music in the Park, senior citizen fundraising events and Thanksgiving dinners for seniors.
