Working their Magic

The Magic, girls 12 and under all-star team from the Los GatosSaratoga Girls Softball Association, placed second in the George Feeley Classic in San Mateo. The pitching of Emily Nelson and solid offensive play of Rachel and Nicole Sabes sparked the Magic to the runner-up finish in the tourney. The Magic lost 5-2 to Burlingame in the championship game. Laura Ruddy, Greta Wicht, Niki Yamamura and Briana Campbell were defensive standouts. Members of the team included (front row, l-r) Cathryn Paolini, R.
