Alive and Loving Life Bentley Silicon Valley Vandalism downtown
A pre-opening event at the Forbes Mill Steakhouse July 7 to raise money for the Alive ... and Loving Life project was a resounding success, with more than 250 people in attendance.  More An auto dealership with plans to expand its presence in Los Gatos has won the approval of the planning commission, which foresees people pressing their noses up against windows and "oogling" the luxury cars.  More A vandalism case in downtown Los Gatos last week that left at least eight planters and a wooden bench damaged has baffled the merchants on Main Street.  More

Jeanine Harms Eric Quesada Bricks a'plenty
Former Los Gatan Jeanine Sanchez Harms has been missing for two years now, but the search for her continues, with family and friends planning a march for July 28 through the streets of Los Gatos.  More The teenager responsible for the death of LGHS student Eric Quesada has been sentenced to finish out his year in juvenile hall, followed by 18 months at a rehabilitation camp. Quesada's mother and stepfather call it a "light sentence."  More The engraved bricks soon to be on the road to the Lyndon Bandstand at Oak Meadow Park aren't just raising money for the bandstand project—they're also memorializing Los Gatans in an unforgettable way.  More
