Karrie Lynn Sturtz and Ryan Matthew Bertsch announce their intention to wed on July 3, 2004, in Santa Clara.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Joan and Donald Sturtz of Los Gatos. A graduate of Los Gatos High School and Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, she is a manufacturing engineering manager for Novare Surgical Systems in Cupertino.

Her fiancé is the son of Kay and Randy Bertsch of Ben Lomond. He is a graduate of San Lorenzo Valley High School and Santa Clara University and is the director of materials management for ASML in Scotts Valley.
