Karie Buchanan and Nick Nanèz were married on June 28 in South Lake Tahoe, Calif.

The bride is the daughter of Marty Scott of Los Gatos. A graduate of Los Gatos High School, she is a professional ice skater as well as the operations manager at the Winter Lodge Ice Skating Rink in Palo Alto.

The groom is the son of Tony and Linda Nanèz of Los Gatos. He is a graduate of Los Gatos High School and California State University, Chico, and is a firefighter for the City of Millbrae Fire Department.

The two were friends in high school and began dating four years before they were engaged. The newlyweds plan to reside in Los Gatos.


Marki, Dunn

Analisa Christina Marki and Harold Crockett Dunn were married on May 24 in Carmel Valley, Calif.

The bride is the daughter of Ferenc and Christine Marki of Carmel. A graduate of Los Gatos High School, Duke University and the Keck School of Medicine at USC, she is fulfilling her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at USC.

The groom is the son of Harold Bradford and Katherine Dunn of Birmingham, Ala. He is a graduate of Duke University and is the chief technological officer for Gold Zeppelin in Los Angeles.

The couple was wed at Carmel Valley Ranch in Carmel. After a honeymoon in Maui, the newlyweds moved to Pasadena, Calif.
