DOMESTIC DISTURBANCE—July 16, 5:03 p.m. A caller reported a verbal and physical confrontation with her ex-husband, who was outside her house on Pinehurst Avenue in a black Ford Ranger truck. The caller thought her ex-husband was in possession of a controlled substance but had not been drinking. The suspect was taken into custody on a warrant for a traffic violation.
TRAFFIC HAZARD—July 16, 3:08 p.m. A box of tools was dropped in the middle of an intersection on Blossom Hill Road and Los Gatos Boulevard. A worker picked up his tools and left the scene.
SPECIAL ASSIGNMENT—July 16, 1:51 p.m. Four businesses on Los Gatos Boulevard were contacted regarding compliance with tobacco and alcohol laws, and it was found that they hadn't been selling tobacco or alcohol to minors.
VANDALISM—July 16, 6:17 a.m. A caller reported that the windshield of his semi-truck was broken on Knowles Drive.
PSYCHOTIC EPISODE—July 15, 11:27 p.m. A father whose daughter was visiting him for the summer was reported to have been shouting at his daughter on Winchester Boulevard. She had a history of psychotic episodes. She was transported to a hospital for evaluation for being mentally unstable.
STRANGE NOISES—July 15, 10:58 p.m. A caller heard noises on the stairs leading up to her residence on Rose Avenue. She looked out of her window and didn't see anything. She believed the noises could have been made by an animal.
HIT AND RUN—July 15, 5:06 p.m. A person came to the lobby of the police station to report that a white Ford truck had hit their car in a parking lot on N. Santa Cruz Avenue. The truck fled from the lot, traveling on Highway 9 in the direction of Highway 17.
THEFT—July 15, 1:19 p.m. A caller said the rear license plate was stolen from her Honda Accord. The car was parked in her driveway on Los Gatos Boulevard.
PROPERTY FOUND—July 15, 10:47 a.m. A person turned in a gun to the police department.
