It's time again for the annual Montezuma Foundation reunion held at The Presentation Center on Bear Creek Road.

Established as an all-boys' school in 1911, the Montezuma Mountain School was in operation until 1955. At the reunion, which is open to the public, former students, teachers and friends tour the old campus and reacquaint themselves with the school's history, discussing the philosophy of the school's founder and former headmaster, Ernest Andrew "Prof" Rogers.

The event is Aug. 15-17, doubling as a sleep-away camp for members of the Junior Statesmen of America, created by Rogers.

Montezuma Foundation President John R. Lloyd—Rogers' nephew—will welcome students, followed by special keynote speaker Joe McNamara, former San Jose Police Chief. For more information, call Donald Arnaudo, treasurer of the foundation, at 408.354.4017 or email arniea@attbit.com.

The Los Gatos Swim and Racquet Club is hosting its 3rd annual tennis round robin on Sept. 5 from 5 to 9 p.m. to benefit the Breast Cancer Fund and the Women's Healthy Eating and Living study conducted at Stanford Medical Center. The benefit features an opportunity to play tennis with pros, watch exhibition matches, and sample a bounty of food and wine provided by locals such as the Los Gatos Brewing Co., California Café, Chart House, Andale's and Icing on the Cake.

All levels of players are welcome, but each participant must raise $150 to play. Those opting not to play but looking to donate can sponsor $25. For more information or to sign up, visit http://www.playforacure.org.
