Play for a Cure

The Play for a Cure Foundation will run its third annual tennis round robin to benefit breast cancer research and the Women's Healthy Eating and Living study conducted at Stanford Medical Clinic. The 2002 Charity Event of the Year, as voted on by the U.S. Professional Tennis Association, will return to the Los Gatos Swim and Racquet Club on Sept. 5 from 5 to 9 p.m.

Activities include tennis with the pros, an exhibition match, a silent auction and food and wine donated by Los Gatos, Saratoga, Campbell and Willow Glen.

Players of all levels are welcome and are asked to raise $150 in order to play. Sponsors who wish to join in the fun but not play can do so by donating $25.
