Found Property—Aug. 13, 5:11 p.m. A wallet or purse was found lying off to the side of the road near a dark-colored BMW on Montgomery Street.
Town Code Violation—Aug. 13, 3:18 p.m. A caller reported that contractors were cutting down two trees in front of a residence on Hancock Court. It was unknown whether they had permits.
Domestic Disturbance—Aug. 13, 3:41 p.m. A male was involved in a domestic dispute and tried to hit a person on N. Santa Cruz Avenue. The person came to the police department lobby to report the incident. The male threatened to vandalize the person's store because of an inappropriate hand gesture.
Hit and Run—Aug 13, 1:33 p.m. California Highway Patrol was on the lookout for a suspicious gray sedan that may have hit a victim on N. Santa Cruz Avenue. There was damage done to shrubbery and sprinklers on Highway 9 on a median divider.
Domestic Disturbance—Aug. 13, 10:04 a.m. A caller heard a domestic dispute the previous night on Panighetti Place and thought it looked like there was blood on the front porch. The caller heard a bang, but wasn't sure if it was a gunshot. The caller had gone over to the residence and knocked on the front door, but there was no answer, although a truck was parked in the driveway. A female contacted at the residence by authorities said she was involved in a verbal fight with a male around 2 a.m. She said she did not live at the residence. There was no blood found on the porch, but samples were taken by an evidence team.
