Chain stores Habitat for Humanity Coffee and concerns
By approving conditional use permits for Talbots and Traditions, the Los Gatos Planning Commission last week allowed two more "formula retail businesses," better known as chain stores, to move into downtown.  More More than 300 volunteers and members of the community are expected to partake in a celebration as Silicon Valley Habitat for Humanity hands over the key to a newly built home to a deserving family in Los Gatos.  More Imagine driving down Highway 9 at a safe and slow rate of speed without seeing litter on the side of the road or telephone and utility poles overgrown with foliage.  More

Connector ramp SVACA home Heart Walk
A connector ramp from northbound Highway 17 to northbound Highway 85 will most likely be pulled permanently from the Valley Transportation Authority's to-do list.  More Since Sunnyvale bowed out of the Silicon Valley Animal Control Authority earlier this year, the remaining six member towns and cities have begun looking at a new site for an animal shelter.  More The 11th annual Silicon Valley American Heart Walk, sponsored by the American Heart Association, will kick off at 8 a.m. on
