Jennifer Candice Francone and Karl Varsanyi Jr. announce their intention to wed on July 31, 2004, at Viansa Winery in Sonoma.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Bob and Vickie Francone of Saratoga and formerly Los Gatos. A graduate of St. Francis High School and San Francisco State University, she is a consumer and family merchandiser.

Her fiancé is the son of Karl and Mandy Varsanyi of Los Altos Hills. He is a graduate of St. Francis High School and UC-Santa Barbara and is a financial analyst for Macys.com.

The couple first met at a homecoming dance in high school and dated for eight years before the groom-to-be made a surprise proposal in Central Park in New York City.

After a honeymoon on the Italian Riviera, the couple will reside in San Francisco.
